agreed on that. the piston and rings not much difference in price . even the valve's are not that bad in price. it's when she makes a loud bang and locks up you might star crying. thanks for not bashing me on a 4stroke debate-much appreciated

yep, i have 2 stroke bike and 3 4 strokes and each one i like for different riding styles. either way to each their own. if there was one perfect bike or quad we'd all be riding the same thing and that would be boring as hell.

i do knew the newer 450s after not cheap to upkeep. you have to check the vavles all the time. i rode a friends yz250f, with some work (cams, pipes, and other small things) it was peppy. also had a rm250 at the same time, just a pipe but had nice suspension. the rm was faster, but the yz had the low end power.

i'm going to agree with sheeblast on this one. if it was a little order i would say upgrade a little but an 07 you've got plenty to work with. also where at in pa are you from?

ok you'll have to hook up with us this year. i'm around breezewood but we ride a lot around houtzdale/ramey area. i go through that area almost daily hauling machinery for cleveland brothers caterpillar
