There have been some questions about the thanks button lately and some confusion. It was asked in another thread but for the life of me I can't find it so ill post it here.

If you start a thread and someone replies you will see a thanks button to the left of the multiquote button on each post. If someone answers your question or goes out of their way to help you, you can thank them. It will give them 1 rep point and 3 points.

Hope this answers any questions about the thanks button.

oh so only the person that started that thread can thank someone. that makes sense.

like if someone started a thread asking about why their quad wouldn't start and another member took the time to help them and posted a reply in that thread, then the OP of the thread can then thank that person.
