| hey all !, i like dirt, whether it be dunes or bush trails. my weapon of choice is a 2008 banshee. i bought it brand new from the dealer. i thought id get a new one because i didnt want some one else's problems and i was going to leave it stock, so a new stock one will last me for ever. well... about 15hrs of ride time in, i got some t5's, vf3's, dyna fs, fox floats, wicked +1+2 arms, and some doug red rims and rzr2 treads. then 20hrs, chariot cool head with 20cc domes and white knuckle intakes. then 40hrs, i had a stock stroke hjr dune port, matched cases and oko 30's (oko's were shit, stuck stock ones back on) then 100hrs. serval 421 cleaned up cub, matched cases, cut trans, slingshot clutch, shifting mods, shearer sb if's and 34tm carbs. this was the serval with stock carbs and t5's. and with the shearers and 34's ( motor was rebuilt due to some probs, swapped 20cc domes for 24cc also and stock cdi replaced the dyna) now for some thing that was meant to be left stock, i failed miserably haha and am now marfukn broke as shit haha. im addicted to it, i cant stop all i need is a rear setup and then thats it !!. im bored so, this could have been a shorter post but i stretched it haha. | |

| haha cheers 04bb . zilla the motor is good, once i get the midrange tuned it will be sweet, its a pretty torquey motor, with good pull from down low. because its a cub, people expect cheetah performance and expect too much and internet chinese whispers dont help.. in due time i will prolly get it ported but now it feels strong enough to keep me happy for the time being. i havent had it in the dunes yet, thats a good test as paddles give you a good feel for power, dirt tyres just spin crazy. (actually i have had it in the dunes but with the stock carbs and t5's, with a problem engine, it was ok, better than the dune port, the shearers and 34s make it heaps better but have tried this setup in the dunes) this is a low comp pump fuel motor, kicking 135psi, with 0 timing added. | |

| yeh, they dont like timing or compression, thats why i lowered it all. once i got some good hours on it, ill start playing, trying to squeeze more power outa it. i was running straight avgas (high lead, higher octane than LL), so maybe that wasnt enough for 170+psi and a few degrees advance. ive heard of a few people running decent timing advance and compression, could be the race gas or the way they had the domes cut. the dunes is the best place ever , make the trip ! | |

| thanx fellas and fellettes :P. i dont know why i never bought one ages ago, its one of my favorite toys, i wouldnt sell it to feed me haha. yeh 4mil, lower port timings so it comes on earlier has strong mid but doesnt have the top end of a cheetah. but nothing a bit of "port port" cant fix | |
