| The old VW buses were worth very little up until a few years ago when one sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction for over $100,000. After that, big bucks. Now people who aren't even VW fans are paying top dollar for crusty ones like that because they figure they can throw another 50 grand at them and come out on top. | |

| VW prices have shot up but I didn't think that much. Bugs shot up in the thousands for ruff condition ones. Before the new bug came out, you could get the old ones in real good condition for around $500 all day long. | |
