building a speaker system

in my local 4h i do the electric project, this year i have to think of my own electrical project, i'm thinkin of building a small cheap, but loud speaker system, i was wondering if anyone here is good with electric and might give me some pointers or ideas

are u doing it with car speakers, sub woffers?...is it going in a car?

i am still doing it, its a small system that gonna bbe portable speakers, i just started the amplifier, i would have just run a mp3 jack to the speakers, but it needs to be a actual challenging project cause its for 4h electic

yah, i help run the 4h atv club, and i also do electric just for the heck of it, but i'm proly not gonna next year, its just not even fun anymore, i'm jus gonna do atv's, its fun cause i get to show kids how to ride properly and stuff, its a blast

you know what speakers you are going to use?
also what you making the box out of?

and by portable you just mean you can easily carry it and then plug it into something correct

its actually already done, its 2 4 inch speakers, wired out the sides of a tool box, its pretty sweet, runs off of a 120 volt wall plug, sounds good too

ya i close to nothern indiana maby 5 to 10 miles from indiana border.....i have been to a mud bog in north webster ever heard of there?
